merlinofchaos has released views version 1.2 for drupal 4.7, which comes with views fusion support out of the box. So there is no further patching of views required :)
So making sophistaced views containing data of several nodes like this userlist becomes easier than ever.

"mark content types as user profiles"
I am trying to build a profile system much like the one in your demo. However, not being versed in php and a beginner in drupal, I am having problems.
I'm confused by this line:
* Mark your content type as user profile at 'admin/settings/content-types'
In my admin/settings/content-types, I don't have a "user types" content setting. In configure for the content type I created, a "name" text box, I can check 'Use this content type as a nodeprofile for users'.
Is this correct? After I've done this, I'm still lost at how you create the profile. I'am most interested in the address area in your demo (adding additional address from text fields).
Any help would be very much appreciated.

just follow the instructions in the nodeprofile readme and use the pageroute module, then you get it :)
and yes checking this checkbox was the first step..
